Last updated: 2026-05-14
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the ProFeedWP plugin, website, API service, free version, paid plans, updates, support, and related services. By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using ProFeedWP, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Plugin.
1. Description of Service
ProFeedWP is a WordPress plugin and hosted API service that enables you to display public LinkedIn company page content on your WordPress website.
2. LinkedIn Integration
2.1. ProFeedWP relies on LinkedIn’s services, public availability, and technical infrastructure. We have no control over LinkedIn’s availability, policies, data, or technical changes.
2.2. If LinkedIn modifies its services, policies, or technical infrastructure in a way that prevents or limits our ability to provide the Plugin’s functionality, we will not be liable for any resulting loss of service. Refunds are handled according to the refund terms shown at purchase, applicable Freemius checkout terms, and applicable law.
3. Content Collection and Storage
3.1. By using the Plugin, you grant us permission to collect, store, and process certain data from your LinkedIn account, including images and messages you have posted on LinkedIn, for the sole purpose of enabling the Plugin to display your feed on your website.
3.2. When the Plugin requests feed data, it may send the LinkedIn company page URL, your site URL, a generated install ID, the plugin version, requested feed settings, and, for paid plans, relevant Freemius license or install identifiers used to verify plan access.
3.3 We do not sell your content or plugin usage data. We may share data only as necessary to provide the Plugin’s functionality, operate the hosted API service, process payments/licenses through service providers such as Freemius, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights and service.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1. You are solely responsible for the content displayed via the Plugin on your website, including ensuring compliance with LinkedIn’s terms of service, applicable laws, and any relevant copyright or privacy regulations.
4.2. We are not responsible for any misuse of LinkedIn’s service or violations arising from how you display or use the feed.
5. License and Usage
5.1. The ProFeedWP plugin code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under that license.
5.2. Paid plans, license keys, updates, support, hosted API access, premium service limits, account access, branding, and commercial services are provided under these Terms and may not be shared, resold, abused, or used to bypass plan limits.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Plugin, including but not limited to service interruptions caused by LinkedIn’s changes or downtime.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to hosted API services, updates, support, license benefits, or account features if you breach these Terms or abuse the service. This does not limit your rights to use, modify, or redistribute GPL-licensed plugin code.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Plugin after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
